Job Openings: JOB TITLE: Direct Support Professional (DSP), NUMBER OF OPENINGS: 10, JOB SUMMARY:, You will be working with adults with Autism in their residential group homes by helping them with their daily living activities. Great candidates for the DSP position are motivated and go above and beyond to provide the best support for people with Autism. We are looking for self-starters to bring creative ideas and take initiative! Provide direct support and assistance to individuals with Developmental Disabilities or Autism. Assist with daily living activities, including personal care, meal preparation, and medication administration. Ensure the safety and well-being of individuals under your care. Promote independence and community integration for individuals with disabilities. Document and maintain accurate records of services provided. Advocate for the rights and needs of individuals with disabilities. Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations., JOB REQUIREMENTS:, – Valid Driver's License, – High School Diploma/GED, – Comfortable driving a 15-passenger van (You will be road tested prior to starting), – Must attend additional trainings within 6 months of hire (CPR, SCIP, AMAP), – Comfortable with daily use of technology (computer, email, phone, typing etc), – Effective verbal and written communication, HOURS: Varies (Full and Part time), WAGES: $18.15 Hourly, BENEFITS: Vacation and $1,500 sign-on bonus after successful completion of 6 months. 401(k) matching.
