Please join us for Part II in our series on New York State Programs and protections. Whether you are currently looking for employment with a criminal conviction or seeking to better understand your rights as an individual with previous justice-involvement, this webinar will offer information to assist you in understanding your rights in New York State.
This session will review information about the following programs:
• Bail Reform (Instituted in 2019): Understand changed that were instituted to bail practices in New York
• Less is More (Instituted in 2022): Discover how this legislation reforms parole violation systems and limits re-incarceration for technical violations.
• Clean Slate Act (Instituted in 2024): Get the facts on how this new law automatically seals certain conviction records, helping to remove barriers to employment and housing.
