This workshop will cover a Department of Civil Service overview, including information and opportunities regarding civil service positions. We will also look at the civil service merit system, public service opportunities, and the pathways available to access a multitude of employment types and options throughout more than 90 state agencies. Participants will learn about examinations, eligibility lists, open positions, applications, the hiring process, and some tips and best practices to help when applying.
