Job Openings: JOB TITLE: Certified Home Health Aides/Personal Care Aides, NUMBER OF OPENINGS: 100, JOB SUMMARY:, Always Compassionate is recruiting full-time, part-time and live-in care givers to work multiple locations throughout Westchester County. Under the supervision and direction of a nursing supervisor, care giver responsibilities include following patient care plan and providing patient with a safe and supportive environment. Assisting patient with needs as indicated on care plan such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting and feeding (assist with ADLs as described on care plan). Remind patient to take medications. Assist with use of cane, walker and other assistive devices. Proper and complete documentation of services provided. Immediately report any concerns or changes in patient condition. Provide emotional support and encourage independence. Develop a trusting and mutually respectful relationship., JOB REQUIREMENTS:, – Must be at least 18 years old, – Current HHA/PCA certification (Please bring proof), – Must be dependable and compassionate, – Ability to turn, lift, and transfer patients, – Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., – Ability to comprehend and verbalize care according to care plan, - Physical exam and drug pre-screening test required, HOURS: Vary, WAGES: $19.10 – $21.00 Hourly, BENEFITS: Vacation, Sick Leave, Paid Holidays
